| >I was really bored one day, so I decided to take on the wheel and just drive around Key West. Don't get me wrong, I am a Key West native, but whenever I have the time, I always try to explore the town cos I'm sure that the possibilities are endless in Key West. Since I'm feeling a bit historical that day, I decided to go to the Ernest Hemingway House. This is my first place time to go to this place since I'm really not a fan of museums and the likes. But the aura of the place attracted me big time, making me want to visit it. There, I was able to see some of Hemingway's stuff, like his table, where he used to write his novels, and his lamp shade, if that's what they used to call it during that time. It was a real cool experience. It made me want to go to another museum, so I went to Pirate Soul. Located at Front Street, this is the pirate's heaven. They have the only real pirate treasure chest in the world at this location. the museum is pretty small for the price you have to pay though. But I didn't really mind since I really had a blast! After that enjoyable and informative experience, I went to catch the much-talked about Lazy Dog Outdoor Adventure Tours. There, I really had a blast seeing those mangroves! This is among the best water tours in Key West because you get to see the beauty of the place and learn about geological structures and wildlife. It was a really good experience, both calming and exciting! After that, I decided to go home, but before heading back home, I decided to grab an early dinner at Caroline's. Man, I tell you, they have the best fish and chips in town. A real must try! I also ordered their grilled fish sandwich, and I really had a great time munching it with my favorite bottle of soda! See, even I, who's a native from Key West is always amazed by its beauty and diversity. So why not try going on a road trip here. I'm sure you'll have much fun as I do! |
